Donate your extra food for those in need.

CPUN and CPBA will be collecting both fresh produce from your yard or garden and non-perishable food.  We can also collect fruit straight from any trees you volunteer.

If you would like to volunteer for the event, click here to sign up.

You can either drop off your produce at Conservatory Green (8303 E 49th Pl, Denver CO 80238) or you can sign up for a pick up.  Just sign up here and leave your food clearly labeled on your front steps and we’ll send someone to get it.

If you would like to have a team of volunteers glean (collect your fruit from) your tree(s), click here to sign up as a Tree Steward.

CPUN’s Sustainability Committee has partnered with the City and County of Denver, the Central Park Master Community Association, the Central Park Business Association and regional food access nonprofits on this food drive, including Denver Food Rescue, Grow Local Colorado, Uproot Colorado, and Foodbank of the Rockies.

You can donate excess produce from your gardens or trees, which will be weighed, sorted, and provided to Denver Food Rescue, who will distribute it to other area nonprofits serving communities in need.  Uproot and GrowLocal will also help us organize a gleaning team to harvest fruit from trees across the community (as well as the rest of Denver).

You can also donate shelf-stable/non-perishable items, such as peanut butter, pasta, Tuna, beef stew, chili, baked beans, soup, canned fruit or vegetables for delivery to the Food Bank of the Rockies.
